Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay

– Welcome aboard and sail through the Halong Bay

– A first visit will take our guests by tender to the Tien Ong Cave approximately 20 minutes

– The voyage continues to the fishing village. You can either hop on a small bamboo boat rowed by the local people or paddle by yourself in a kayak. The second option is a perfect way to freely move around in the calm area and gain an insight into the village life.

– After returning to the boat we sail to the overnight mooring area Luon Bo. During this time Halong Bay reveals its most magnificent beauty – we call it the “blue hour”. Rewind on the sun deck with a drink of your choice and let the moment sink in. During the sailing time our Chef demonstrates as well the preparation of particular Vietnamese dishes. Feel free to join and practice by yourself.

– Dinner is served in the restaurant either à la carte or buffet style

Day 2: Halong Bay - Hanoi

– Join the Tai Chi morning class on the sun deck which is a truly one-time experience. By following the moves of our instructor you merge with the surrounding scenery.

– The boat continues to sail to Titop Island. We set over by tender to this little landmass in the bay. Prepare yourself for a refreshing morning swim on a sandy beach beneath high rock formations. If you prefer to be more active climb up to the hill top of Titop Island from where you have stunning views over Halong Bay (it is 400 stone steps up which takes about 20 minutes to the top, minimal fitness and proper footwear is required). There is also a viewing platform about half-way up with great panoramic views.

– Back on board (around 8:45 o’clock) you may like to shower and freshen up. Now it is time to enjoy the last sailing time back to the harbor. A full breakfast is served in the dining room. Relax on the sun deck or dine in the restaurant while savoring the last cruise moments of this iconic site before arriving back on shore.

– Our crew bids farewell and helps with your belongings

Day 2: Halong Bay

– Take a light bike ride along the coast line of Cat Ba, through the rain forest to the Viet Hai village. A fantastic way to get in touch with the nature of the biggest Halong island. Please read below the options of this day

A. If weather conditions are good:

– A breakfast is served in the cozy restaurant while the Sunset moves deeper into the Halong Bay straight to Cat Ba Island.

– We arrive at Viet Hai dock and take a leisure bicycle ride along the water front, passing forests and a stone tunnel on the way to the Viet Hai Village. We explore the village with its traditional houses and its residents. Guests can take a short walk to the surrounding jungle. The journey continues to the local primary school.

– After this, guests cycle back to the dock and board the junk. The cruise continues unhurried to Ho Ba Ham. During this slow trundle, lunch is served. At this secluded area guests kayak through water tunnels and close to stunning rock and islets.

B. If weather conditions are not good (strong waves prohibit cruising to Viet Hai Village):

– A breakfast is served in the cozy restaurant while the Sunset moves deeper into the Halong Bay straight to Cat Ba Island.

– Kayak and swim at the Hai Quan lagoon area and get in close touch with the Bay. Before midday, we cruise to the “Surprise Cave”. Lunch will be served in the restaurant of the Sunset.

– After lunch, guests visit the “Surprise Cave” or they can engage in kayaking around the Luon cave tunnel.

– In the afternoon, the Sunset cruises back via several Halong Bay sights – Cua Van fishing village – Soi Sim – Dau Xuoi channel and Toad Islet – before boarding the mother junk again for the overnight.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

– For early risers complimentary tea, coffee and pastries are served in the restaurant followed by – if you so desire – a Tai Chi Class on the terrace deck

Remarkable time on Halong Bay!

Lots of choices out there for luxury cruises on Halong bay but my friend and I decided to go with Jasmine Cruise in 2 days 1 night. At first we were picked up by an expensive car at our hotel. Despite of long distance and rough street, we felt very comfortable on soft seats and were driving safe by an experienced driver, very different to some other driving experiences in Vietnam so far!!. Our embarkation went smoothly. We were warmly greeted by all the staff with lots of cheers. Our room was beautifully decorated and it had all the utilities we needed. The room smelt so nice with lovely candles and flowers. Our room attendant was a compassionate young lady that served us well and always made sure if there was something she could help. The food was absolutely stunning and delicious. The team asked us carefully if anyone was allergic or vegetarian, you could see proper care be taken by staff. Though English is not their Mother tongue, they still put all in the effort to communicate with us in smoothest way. We enjoyed so much all the activities they hold. Swimming was fun, climbing up Titop Island was worth every step. The caves in Halong bay were extremely stunning. The bay looks like a fairytale. Of course don’t forget to bring your camera to memorize those beautiful pictures. The communication was so good that we actually learnt some simple Vietnamese taught by the staff.     Last word I’d love to say many thanks to Jasmine Cruise team and highly recommend you guys!

A must for visitors to Vietnam

Halong Bay is a must see area and on board Jasmine is a great way to do it. We were on board overnight, with good food and company. The entire trip was well-organised and the staff was helpful and attentive.

Excellent

Great boat. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and clean. I couldn’t believe how good the water pressure in the shower was for a boat. Activities were organised & our guide for these was very informative.

Fabulous experience in an amazing location.

We did the overnight, 24 hours on board. Civilised way to see Halong Bay, Vietnam. A must see on many people’s trip to Vietnam. There’re so many boats in the bay ! Day trips, overnight, the lot… Great agenda, not too fast paced and optional activities. We had a lovely room without a balcony. My highlight was the sunset on the top deck, I had the deck to myself. Quiet, beautiful, perfect.Morning tai chi was brilliant, then the boat to ti top island and a swim all before breakfast. Food was lovely. Staff spoke stilted English, better than my Vietnamese !! Loved it and so relaxing. Fabulous.

Wonderful experience

We were lucky enough to spend two nights on the Jasmine last month. The whole thing was magical. We had a cabin with a balcony on the higher floor, which was great. The food was excellent, particularly the lunch on the day boat.

Stunning beyond belief

We travelled on the Jasmine Junk overnight cruise and it was a truly memorable experience enjoyed by us all. The service was second to none and the food was absolutely delicious. Our trips included a working fishing village, a cave and a climb up one of the peaks followed by a quick swim which is most definitely necessary after the heat of climb.

Delightful

Lovely boat with exceptional staff. Nice rooms. Obviously stunning scenery. The second day we stayed on the boat as my husband just wanted to relax with the boat to ourselves and it was splendid such good waiting staff. Lunch nice. BBQ at night very good. Little slices of dessert often ran out before we got there (probably good for the waistline though). Would highly recommend

Excellent leisure on the Jasmine

We loved everything about this boat and the experience. The staff were very helpful and everything was so well organised. The room was spacious with a surprisingly big bathroom and a balcony. The food was amazing. We went to a floating village, made spring rolls, did Tai Chi at 6am, went to a cave and Ti Top beach where you can climb over 400 steps to the top for magnificent views. Recommend this boat/ company for an excellent overall experience of Halong Bay.

Unforgettable experience

After doing various boat tours in Asia, we weren’t sure what to expect. The Jasmine Boat exceeded our expectations in every way. The boat itself is beautiful and immaculately clean. We stayed on the second floor, which had small balconies attached to the room, and the bed was very comfortable. But what stood out the most was the incredible food and wonderful staff. Be prepared to eat a LOT. Each meal has several courses — we felt very spoiled. The biggest highlight was enjoying a New Year celebration with the staff. We were invited to try sashimi, Vietnamese wasabi, rice wine, and all sorts of delicacies you won’t get at restaurants. It was so special to be included in the celebration. We stayed one night, which was plenty of time, but could certainly have done two. Overall, Jasmine was outstanding in every way, and we loved that the activities brought everyone who

Excellent trip

Around 3hr drive from Hanoi. We were on the Jasmine Junk and staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous. Excellent food supplied. Took a small boat around a floating fishing village and walked up 427 stairs to the top of a mountain. Boat is large and generally Halong is smooth, so the ride and sleep was very calm.

Class Journey with Jasmine Cruise

Top quality boat with ideal staff. They were so considerate and spoke excellent English and were brilliant with names. The cruise manager was such a great woman and funny host, she really cared for our experience and made sure that we were well-taken care of. The food was superb and very generous. Daytrips and activities were held and guided well. The landscape of Halong Bay was very beautiful. We had a balcony room which was totally gorgeous. 2 nights wouldn’t be enough, 3 nights would be perfect.   My only negative was that Alcohol was a bit costly.

Beautiful way to experience Halong Bay!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of riding Jasmine Cruise for one night, two days across Halong Bay. It was a truly enjoyable ride with beautiful landscape and great weather. In particular, the crew on this boat were incredibly kind and cheerful. They truly accommodated to each passenger’s needs and took the time to teach us about the romance of Halong Bay.    The boat looked new and the food was awesome. There was a little bit of a situation where the sink in our bathroom was leaking but they just fixed it immediately. There was nothing else to complain and we absolutely enjoyed our ride. Highly recommend Jasmine Cruise!

Good choice with Jasmine Cruise

While searching for a good cruise in Halong Bay, I got overwhelmed by the figure of cruises and options. We were planning to have a 3 days and 2 nights tour. Keep in mind that you will be on the boat the whole time and all the meals will be served there so it is a must that you find the best option otherwise your trip will be spoiled! After lots of online research I found that Jasmine Cruise was the finest option. We were emailing them back and forth and they always gave us prompt answers so we were definitely sure that the cruise would guarantee us a safe and enjoyable trip to Halong Bay. We had a successful and warm embarkation after burning up the road from Hanoi to the Bay (it was like 4 hours). In my opinion staff take adding up 80% satisfaction to your experience in any locations and we were extremely pleased to say that staff of Jasmine Cruise was excellent. One of the best customer service experiences I had ever had! We requested Halal Food and the whole crew ensured that we got exactly what we wanted, they presented the menu to us in advance and inquired about what needed to be changed so that we could completely enjoy our delicious meals. Our room was nice, clean with decent size and small balcony enough to enjoy our evening. I could write more but generally I highly recommend Jasmine Cruise to enjoy your Halong Bay trip!

Well worth the money

We did one night on the Jasmine Cruise during our trip to Vietnam. We were occupied and busy the entire stay which was a nice surprise. We did everything from kayaking, Taichi to cooking class, massages…all while taking in the gorgeous surroundings of Ha Long Bay. Our cruise manager along with the entire staff was brilliant. They kept us smiling and laughing the entire time. The food on board was delightful and the staff was also well experienced with food allergies and or restrictions. If we could do it all over again, I would go for a two-night trip! This experience will not disappoint!    We would definitely recommend Jasmine Cruise.
